"IF YOU WANT A VISION OF THE FUTURE, IMAGINE CRAP 808 SAMPLES STAMPING ON A HUMAN FACE- FOREVER"

Forthcoming 15th November on Not Even
Hype eskibeat action from recent Ramp releasee Becoming Real and ex Roll Deep MC Trim. Pulling the disparate Grime elements of the aforementioned Fast Motion into focus, Becoming Real yanks on the strings to tighten the dislocated slump of his previous offering into steely grime futurism. Space age tribalism along the same lines as Zomby’s eskibeat stockpile, and featuring one of Grime’s best MCs to boot; not bad at all! Trim’s bizarrely lucid non-sequiturs supplement the Wiley otherworldliness perfectly, launching new Moshi Moshi imprint Not Even in rude health. Excitingly, the Spectre EP “Like Me” is featured on contains a remix from footwork don DJ Rashad. A well overdue meeting of worlds, I’ve always thought the stark austerity/coiled rhythm work dichotomy of juke mirrored Grime far more closely than the IDM/Jungle/Breakcore world many want to lumber it with.
