Amazing mix for Blackdown’s ever excellent blog to coincide with a characteristically lengthy interview about Gerv LV’s trip to South Africa. Chock full of excellent South African kwaito/house hybrid music, for me the mix emphasises the greatness of the internet for crossing otherwise unassailable boundaries. True, the tunes are still going to be tad unavailable considering they seem to be sold out of the back of taxis in Johannesburg, but it still makes a pretty perfect soundtrack to the interview (which you can read here)
