There are a few ways to draw attention as a new producer. Having an astounding debut release is a good start, but having it come out through the legendary R&S Records is one hell of a string to add to your bow. London based Pariah did just that this March with a storming 10” double header, showcasing hazy, low-slung Dilla-isms on Detroit Falls, with a spring-loaded 2-Step masterclass in Orpheus on the flip. Having come through such a prestigious label- and with a great follow up EP to boot -Pariah’s seen his profile increase exponentially. And thus, a mix with the endorsement of the mighty Fabric arrives. Reaching as far as his productions are diverse, Pariah’s selection is top notch, pulling in classics like Drexciya and Steve Poindexter, as well as various UK bass mutations via the Hessle crew and Untold & Roska’ rawkus collab effort forthcoming on Numbers.
