Forthcoming on Fat City

The latest in a great run of releases from the increasingly unplaceable Mosca. If anybody remained unconvinced by his scene stealing showing on Fabric’s Elevator Music compilation, or the amazing Night-Slugs-launching Square One (and if this is you, I don’t know what to say buddy), an astounding house remix of Fourtet’s Sing should have firmly established the man as The Real Deal. Coming out of the left field for Manchester’s Fat City is a skeezy instrumental hip hop jam that drags Mosca’s synths below the 100bpm mark for some neck snapping fun. Sampled Indonesian singing and some muffled grime bravado give the same hints to Mosca’s wide reaching influences as on-the-mark blog Bruk Magazine and his (sadly defunct) Sub.FM show.
